Essence Library (EL) is an online service to provide access to African-published research, and increase worldwide knowledge of indigenous scholarship.
Essence, Journal of Concerned Philosophy in Africa, has unveiled an inquest into the ontic fundament of social and scientific problems bedeviling mankind in Africa and in the world generally. It is the horizon and medium for investigation and dialogue about nominal entitles and nature of things; for fostering philosophical reflection and analysis on issues as a tradition in the society.
It is concerned with thinking the unthought and making it accessible and transparent for social and scientific policies. Hence reason, which is based on logic and interpretable in many ways, engages in critical investigation, discovery and analysis of things, ancient and modern.
The editorial policy therefore welcomes interdisciplinary discussion of sociopolitical issues and problems and invites philosophical inclined writers from various disciplines, including Physics, Law Social sciences, Literature and lingustics to contribute and thereby bring their distinctive studies and methods to bear upon issues and problems that concern humankind in general and the people of Africa and the third world nation in particular.
